22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Orange & Yellow
This phenomenon is interesting: these flowers, as they grow, go from deep yellow to bright orange and remain in this state for a long time. This fact intrigued me and I photographed it. The plant is called Anthyllis vulneraria.
