Old Sheldon Church in South Carolina

A photo of the magnificent Live Oak trees that drape over the ruins of the Old Sheldon Church in South Carolina. Originally called "Prince William's Parish Church," the structure was burned by the British in 1779 during the Revolutionary War. It was then rebuilt in 1826, and subsequently burned again in 1865 during the Civil War by troops under General William T Sherman.
