I had the opportunity to meet the locals of Teotitlan Del Valle, a village outside of Oaxaca City. We were lead by a photography workshop host who is from the village and introduced us to her community and family members. On this day, she invited us to a family friend's home where this couple showed us their weaving loom and rugs. This woman is named Ana, and she has a significant reputation as a healer in the village. She posed for a photo after showing us their altar and sharing stories of the artifacts they found on their walks.
