"Northern Lights"

On a recent fishing trip to Northern Manitoba, Canada I was blessed with the rising of the full moon and " Northern Lights" evening. It was around 11pm when I noticed the rising of the full moon. I captured a few images of the full moon lighting our float planes on the secluded beach, prior to the "Northern Lights" appearing in the sky. Just a few seconds later the "Northern Lights" started to fill the sky. With the full moon in the sky I waited for the passing clouds to block out the moon and just have the moon rays lighting the clouds above, thus providing the leading line to the first float plane on the beach. The row of planes parked on the beach then leads your eyes to the "Northern Lights" in the sky, then back to the ground to the trees and the boat on the beach. The beach then brings your eyes back to the first float plane and once again your eyes go through the picture, amazing composition! This photograph is quit rare as our location is so far north in Canada, that the "Northern Lights" are actually in the eastern sky here!
