This beautiful swan couple have nested and raised their young on a small peninsula in the Croton River by my home for many years. On this foggy spring day, the pen sits on her beautifully crafted nest, her cob is close by awaiting his turn on the clutch of eggs so his mate can find nourishment for herself.
