22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest The American Experience
NASA Vehicle Assembly Building

This photo shows one of the biggest buildings in the world. The vehicle assembly building. It was used for the mighty Saturn V rocket to bring America to the moon. It was retrofitted later on for the Space Shuttle and is now set up for the Space Launch System (SLS). The tower with the light to the left is the mobile launcher for the SLS.
