I shot this image of Cassius, a boy I nannied at their family ranch in California. We were exploring old sheds on the property. At the time I had been studying Vivian Maier, inspired by her nanny diaries. I love the combination of new and old here. An old property, a new experience. An old mower, a new human. An old worth ethic, a new sense of wonder. Cobwebs + metals.
