After hiking thru the Hoh Rain Forest in Washington, I came across this magnificent tree draped with moss. there was a soft light rain and I made the exposure. This was a trip with a friend to explore the coastal area of Oregon and Washington purely for taking photographs. We were out for over 2 weeks traveling to areas I had never seen and letting the landscapes unfold before me. I like to travel at off peak times to avoid people allowing total concentration. This was what we found as we saw no more than 6-7 people anywhere we went.
