Mom and Baby Howler Monkeys
High in the branches of a Benjamin tree, a mother Howler monkey moves through the canopy, her baby securely clinging to her back. She pauses occasionally to pluck and chew leaves, her movements deliberate and calm. The baby, wide-eyed with curiosity, reaches out now and then, trying to mimic her actions. As the setting sun filters through the leaves, dappled light casts a warm glow on the pair, illuminating this intimate moment in the heart of the Costa Rican forest.
