12th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Mayville Lighthouse
July 4th of this year I ventured to Mayville, NY to get some photos before the crowds came and took my fun away! At sunrise I found myself standing by the historic railroad station which is now a museum and I watched the sun rise and cast its magic over the lighthouse. I waited and waited and took the shot at just the right moment!
