Masan Holi

Unique form of Holi, one of the greatest Indian festivals, is celebrated in Varanasi. Holi is known as the festival of colors, since everywhere else in India, people throw color powder at each other as a form of blessing. But in Varanasi, a city on the Holy Ganges where austerity replaces merriment, ashes left from cremated bodies are thrown instead.
