It doesn't matter that it's October and Fat Tuesday is long over, or that Hurricane Ida ripped through the city just over a month prior - in New Orleans, brightly-colored Mardi Gras beads dangle from front doorsteps everywhere. There's always reason to celebrate the joyful moments in NoLa.
