Mail Pouch Barn
In the first half of the 20th century, Mail Pouch Barns were found in many many states. They were exceptionally plentiful in Pennsylvania. Farmers thought they could make extra money by having this advertising painted on their barns. As time passed, these barns went away. The barn pictured here is a reference to a time long gone. The owner of the property has placed several period cars and trucks around the barn as an homage to a time when life was much simpler.
