Lord Howe Island
Lord Howe Island is a World Heritage-listed volcanic remnant in the Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand. Only 400 visitors are allowed at a time. Pictured here is the view looking north from around half-way up Mount Lidgbird, the Island’s second highest mountain. The tree in the foreground on the right is a Scalybark (Syzygium fullagarii), found only on Lord Howe Island.
