Longstreath homestead, established 1895. This is a home with a great deal of character. I wanted to capture the details so I used a Graflex 4X5 Crown Graphic vintage press camera. I first notice the worn wooden boards and the criss-cross lace curtains in the windows. Unusual bottles and vases are setting on the inside window sills. A walking stick is leaning next to the porch and a small broom is on the porch. Metal ash buckets are loaded with coal to supply coal furnace and to remove the ashes. The overall rustic appearance of the home caught my attention.
