I took this photo when I was in Kyoto last year. I was in Fushimi Inari Sanctuary with my mother who is Japanese. There are more or less 10 thousands of "tori" in this amazing place and in this photo we were walking beneath them. I love this picture because of the colour, especially for this contrast of light and shadow; some of this light went on my mother's hands and this is crazy. What makes this picture so important for me, a part from that it was taken well, is simply because here the model is my mother, the person I love the most.
