We were tracking storms in the area but dared not hope one would provide some great bolts over Devils Tower. Afternoon came.. we hovered around the Tower and one storm came over and made our year. It was incredible and the longest ride back to the hotel to see if we got any good photos. You just never know with lightning until you see it on a larger screen.
