I (the photographer) was taking pictures on my old University campus in Northern California. Visiting my sister, she accompanied me around for the day. Although fatigued from her week, she found the time to help me - and as we went on I saw the beauty in her exhaustion. So instead of photographing the landscape, I turned quickly and photographed her standing right in front of me. I took the image in one shot, capturing her exhaustion, escaping in a yawn.
