The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac is one of the former Canadian Pacific Railway hotels built on a hilltop overlooking old Quebec City and the St. Lawrence river valley. Old Quebec City represents a historic taste of Europe without leaving North America. The Chateau Frontenac construction was completed in 1893.
