This is one of my favorite photos from my trip to Africa this fall. Not for its technique but for the memory it gives me when looking at it. It reminds me of my special contact I had with this great female leopard. We stayed 6 hours at the foot of the tree in the Reserve Masai Mara, Kenya, where this magnificent female leopard was installed, in the hope that she would leave her branch. Her prey, a Thomson gazelle, was on a branch next to her. She would eat and come back to lie down on her branch, look at us and fall asleep when she woke up she would look at us again. It was a moment of privileged contact with this animal and to see them evolve in their environment. A true beauty of nature.
