The art projec Labyrinths of Emigration delves into the theme of emigration, highlighting the self-imposed constraints that immigrants may face during adaptation to a new environment. This exploration focuses on moments when individuals find themselves at their lowest, feeling powerless to move forward. The black-and-white images symbolize the challenges immigrants encounter and the uncertainty of finding their place in a new environment. Although this series deviated from my initial concept, it became a significant milestone in my creative journey, helping me better understand and express the complex emotions and experiences of immigration. The project aims to demonstrate that emigration is not merely a physical relocation but also a profound psychological and cultural transformation that leaves traces in the soul of every immigrant.
