16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Ireland's Teardrop

First Fastnet lighthouse was build on the rock in 1854 around 13 km south- west from mainland of Ireland. The lighthouse is also called Ireland's Teardrop and its because it was last part of Ireland seen by Irish emigrants travelling to America in 19th century.
