While watching birds in my yard (9/2/22) I noticed a puzzling profile in my bird house. The squatter peeked out just enough to capture this photo. This little grey tree frog was comfortably co-opting the space later in the season after it had been used by birds in the spring. Coexisting, cooperating, and collaborating in the natural world …. we could all learn from this.
