On my first morning in Iceland a few years ago, I took a drive to utilize the moody clouds and low autumn light. This quirky church stuck out against the sparse landscape of West Iceland immediately and the sun poked through the clouds at the perfect time. To this day, this church is one of my favorite examples of the juxtaposition between human-made structures and the space they inhabit.
