22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Artistic
I forgot what I was doing and I don't remember

I started making images that I initially considered unproductive, however as I made and viewed the images more, I felt that I was reflecting on my loneliness and adjusting to the place I’ve moved to. More importantly I am missing being without my partner of 2 years, and feel that I’m still figuring out how to live apart from her. In this specific image I may be relaxing or talking to her.
