Howler Monkey on a large tree limb
The image was captured from an elevated observation platform in the Pantanal. Howler Monkeys are usually found in the upper reaches of the forest canopy but the height of the observation platform and their natural curiosity afforded an opportunity, with patience, to photograph these rather elusive primates at eye level.
