I was lounging in the creek on a particularly hot May day, eyes closed, when I suddenly heard the sound of hooves nearby. Startled, I woke up to find a herd of horses crossing the creek right in front of me. I quickly fumbled for my Rollei 35 to capture the moment. Later, I discovered there was a stable in the area that bred German racehorses and would occasionally let them roam free.
