Harvester ready to travel 1965
Wheat combines loaded and ready to go north on the harvest in 1965. Traveling north from southern Mississippi to North Dakota commercial harvesters would follow the summer from one ripe wheat field to the next. To do so they would load the combines with the combine’s header towed behind on a trailer and caravan northward. This harvester was from Waukomis Oklahoma.
