After what was rather a transformative year for myself and my photography, I set out on a last minute trip to the Westfjords of Iceland with a friend and a group of individuals I had never met. Throughout that week the sites we saw and the breathtaking natural (and in some cases man-made) subjects we captured gave me just a glimpse of the vastness and awe-inspiring beauty of Iceland, and even more so, showed me just how spectacular this world of ours truly is. This image was captured on our first full day traveling through the Westfjords, and undoubtedly set an awesome precedent for the rest of the trip.
