During the Juneau Icefield Research Program, students traverse across the Juneau Icefield from Juneau, Alaska to Atlin, Canada while learning about glaciology and mountaineering. They stay at four main camps for the traverse. This is a photo of a student entering one of the outhouses at the first camp. Signs outside the outhouse indicate when one side is occupied or "GO" for available.
