20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Glacier Backpacking
We climbed 2500 feet in elevation to cross Stoney Indian Pass in Glacier National Park. After going over the pass the skies cleared, and we warmed up as we crossed a small stream not far below the pass where we refilled our water supplies.
