My first time in Washington D.C. was peculiar, there were two things that surprised me, the monumental buildings and the parade of people between them. The photo was taken outside Union Station, where many arrive, others leave and some stay, like ghosts without knowing where to go, as if the buildings take care of them or they take care of the buildings, they are there but it seems that no one can see them.
