A tradition bearer in the grandest sense, Gerard is one man and one guitar, playing 1920s era Delta Blues music around the Southern Tier of Upstate New York. Manzarry's restaurant in Elmira graciously allowed us access to their refurbished caboose as the setting for our portrait session. A fitting tribute not just because of Elmira’s rich jazz and blues heritage, but because many delta musicians would hop from car to car as they made their way across the land.
