Hnappavellir, Iceland. I was in Iceland last May for Puffin and landscape photography. We rented a car and drove along the Southeast coast. We stopped for the night in Hnappavellir as there was a large puffin colony nearby. To reach the colony we had to cross an incredible black sand, almost lunar, landscape in an all-terrain truck. As we were crossing, I noticed a pair of swans flying low parallel to our truck.
