This photograph represents the defragmentation that occurs within the mind in periods of tension and stress. It tells the story of a man who is going through immense emotional tension, and as such that is causing is mind to defragment into different states of being. On one hand he seeks to escape his own body and with it all the problems that surround this moment of his life, on the other hand he desperately looks to have some control over himself, trying to "hold" his mind (which is shown by is hand holding his own head). The darkness in the background seeks to transmit the negative state of emotion, in conjunction with his expression. The movement and the overlapping of his face intent to transmit the confusion and stress he is going through.
