Foggy View at the Smokies
It was our first evening visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. I was looking forward to the beautiful view of the sunset from Clingman's Dome. Instead, it was so foggy, we almost couldn't see our way up the trail to get there! We made it, and had a lovely eerie view of some trees peaking out in the fog. An eerie beauty of its own.
