Thousands of Baba Lokenath followers from the Hindu devotees gathered in Shri Shri Lokenath Brahmachari Ashram temple of Baradi near Narayanganj, Bangladesh for the Kartik Brati or Rakher Upobash to offer their prayer to the God. They fast for the day and break the fasting at dusk after the priest signaled to do so. At the same time the Hindu worshippers pray with candle light which is locally known as ‘prodeep’ to save their family and dear one from diseases and wish them good luck.
