I got the impression this charming female Rose Breasted Grosbeak was completely relaxed, while absorbing the warmth of the sun in our back yard on the morning of 5/11/2024. She chose a good place to pose with the Flowering Crab Apple tree blossoms behind her. She and her mate arrived here in the spring and we enjoy seeing these birds on our feeders. I am grateful to have these good memories to capture in pictures before they leave in August on their migratory journey to Central America.
