Family bond
A family of sperm whales rubbing their heads together while socializing, sharing the love and close bond between family members. Researchers have observed and regconized that they have the ability to empathize, cooperate, and communicate with each other through their physical touches or their own language - a complex system of vocalizations, that are passed down through generations. Social communication is important for maintaining the complex social structure of sperm whale populations. This social structure helps maintain order and cooperation within the group, and allows them to share resources such as food and protection.
