Ethereal Rainforest in Olympic National Park
The Hoh Rainforest lies on the west side of Olympic National Park. I am a retired biology teacher who taught biomes to high school students and this was a bucket list trip to see the temperate rainforest in such glory! With 12 feet of rainfall a year and it was raining the few days we visited, the moss, ferns and record sized trees left me in awe. In this photo, a beautiful waterfall was flowing as we made our way on the Hall of Mosses Trail.
