Ephesus Roman Villa
While walking through the Roman terrace houses at Ephesus in Turkey (100BC to 250AD), I saw many beautiful Roman mosaics. In places, I walked on thick clear plexiglas so I could see the mosaics below my feet. I was in a small group and some of these people cast shadows. This way, I captured a shadow of a living person and also the ancient Roman mosaic at the same time.
