Emerald Wasp

The emerald wasp (also known as a cuckoo wasp) is a small, brilliantly coloured wasp known for its bright, metallic appearance. Their shimmering, metallic colours result from structural coloration caused by the way light interacts with microscopic layers in their exoskeleton.
