20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Drizzling onto the rocks, the highest waterfall of Sri Lanka.

The photo depicts the highest waterfall of Sri Lanka ,The Bambarakanda falls. It is located at kalupahana ,Badulla district. With a height of 263m,it is ranked the 461st highest waterfall in the world. The nature is so serene and has a cool environment. Surrounded by mountains and rocks with friendly people living around that area, it is one of the most famous tourists sites in Sri Lanka.
