Drifting tree
Drifting tree, this tree fell during a winter storm in January 2007. Its carried around the national reserve area when flooding occurs and can be found in new places every time. Here it lies 500 meters from where the tree originally grew. Its a story of natural transformation and tree travel, loosing its bark, laying down in new places and hosting life. A traveling monument for natural transformation and wilderness awareness.
