In mid August of 2022, a very special Reading, Blue Mountain, & Northern excursion train, being led by two iconic steam locomotives, crosses Marian Rd in Rush Township, PA, located in rural Carbon County. The lead steam locomotive, numbered 2102 just returned to service after being dormant for about 30 years. The second steam locomotive, numbered 425, has been running on excursion trains for many decades.
