Door to Hell

This is the "Door to Hell" Darvaza gas crater in Turkmenistan. It is very difficult to get a visa for Turkmenistan and if you do, it's only a transit visa. You get a fixed route and a GPS tracker to make sure you stick to it. Luckily the gas crater wasn't too far from the route, so we drove there to stay for one night. The gas crater has been accidentally set on fire and it's been burning since 1971. It's a spectacular view.
