Over the pandemic my friends and I found an interesting way to connect through the magical land of Discord. I created a collab photo with all of our Dungeon and Dragon characters from our campaign. Playmaker is center with his mew-two, Freya is to the right with her Nightfury (cat), Carrion is near the back with Cereberus, (a giant flaming puppy essentially) and my friend Gabe is up top as the DM/ game master, the strings behind the operation. The picture is meant to illustrate a meta-narrative. The characters each have their own lens in which they view the world which is influenced by 6 characters within one sphere. Then one game master and another 4 individuals with their own outside narrative. If we look further out it begs questions such as who controls us and what story are we playing toward in our day to day lives. Shakespeare stated that “all the world is a stage” and this picture illustrates that point.
