Devi Boron

After five days of Durga Puja (an annual Hindu festival, that reveres the goddess Durga), its finally time to bid adieu to goddess. Before goddess Durga leaves for the heavenly abode with her four children – Ganesh, Lakshmi, Saraswati & Kartik, married women could be seen clad in traditional red bordered white sarees with face shields (kept in mind the risks of COVID-19) and blew the conch shells to perform the ‘Devi Boron’ which is the last puja before visarjan or immersion of the goddess Durga.
