Deserted ferries
On the banks of the Mekong River in the Golden Triangle of Thailand, Burma, and Laos, these abandoned ferries stood moored. Their symmetry was striking, and they offered a hint of missions in a distant past. Between active use and dismantling and destruction, the boats bear mute witness to the gap between past and future.
