Desert smoke and Burning Rock
Before seeing this magnificent landmark with my own eyes, I had heard of its ability to change color during different times of day. With that in mind, I set out to depict just that. It was simply a coincidence that the heat on that particular day caused the dry grass to start a desert fire, which - pun aside - goes quite well hand in hand with the burning red color of Uluru at sunset.
